Bird of Paradise in Marshland, 36" x 24" acrylic on wood. Strikingly exotic flowers are expressed with long, languid forms. The warm red of the flowers are draped in cool greens, violets and blues, adding mystery to the scene.

The Phoenix 34" x 28" , Acrylic on canvas and wood. Sometimes when you feel sad, the best songs to hear are ones that start sadly and gradually pick up steam. In a more stark manner, the phoenix needs to burn to be reborn. Here, the phoenix is rebounding from death to rebirth.

The Osprey's Catch, 37" x 24", Mixed media, acrylic on wood & wire. Life is viewed from singular perspectives. Universal perspectives can only be imagined. In this work, the osprey represents death to the fish. The fish represent life to the osprey. The catch is another successful day of living for the osprey. It is the loss of a sibling for the fish. Yet, universally, the osprey and the fish are caught up in the same cyclical flows of nature—each a minuscule element in an unfolding world.
Clockvine Blooms, 16" round. (SOLD) The flowering vine ambles up. The edges of the circle slide down. The result is much like a fountain with perpetual flow.
